Research Skills
• Good  experience in using different instruments such as preparative HPLC, HPTLC, GC,  NMR, atomic absorption, UV and FT-IR. 
    •  Different chromatographic techniques for isolation and purification of  secondary metabolites from natural products such as: 
    -  Column chromatography (flash; charcoal, MPLC and classical).
          - Sephadex  HL-20 and Diaion HP-20 filtration. 
    •  Structural elucidation of isolated compounds using different spectroscopic  techniques such as UV, IR, MS. and NMR.
          In-vitro  antioxidant assays such as DPPH, nitric oxide and superoxide anion scavenging  radical assays.
